The eccentric costumes of the Harry Potter franchise make it easy to see how important fashion is on the big screen.
This week I was lucky enough to go on the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London, where they have all of the sets, props, and (most importantly) costumes that were used in the films. Witnessing behind the scenes of something as high-budget as Harry Potter is unreal. Every dress, shoe, wig, bracelet, and eyelash is created for a specific reason. It's all tailored so perfectly for the actor wearing it and each piece is designed to give a greater depth to the character. This is where you can truly see where fashion and film collide. Sorry, ladies, I didn't get a picture of Rob Pattinson's outfit...
